I’m a paper collage artist and illustrator based in East Sussex. Having studied at Eastbourne School of Art and lived in the area for many years, the local landscape and architecture find their way into much of my work.
After Eastbourne I went on to study graphics at Hornsey College of Art, developing a lifelong interest in flat pattern, patchwork and found objects, mixing them together to produce new images. I find patterns everywhere – in magazines, packaging, even the insides of envelopes, but newspapers are the best source. I rarely sell my original collages as they are made from such delicate paper, instead they are reproduced as very high resolution giclée prints on high grade art paper by a fine art printer.
My work is available via the National Trust, retailers including Paperchase, my online shop and at various exhibitions and shows. Many of my designs have been made into greetings cards by Museums and Galleries.
